Ja, wincsi XP alatt rendesen megy. Erdemes lenne masik wincsit/kulso hazat kiprobalnom?
(egy cege, szoval nem biztos, hoyg orulnenek, ha aszondom, uj usb-s wincsi kell, utana kiderul, hogy azzal sem megy...)

Másik külső házat érdemes lenne kipróbálnod. A jelenlegit szerintem kezeli jól a kernel. lsusb mit ír ki?

Sose futottam bele ilyenbe (bar a neten tobb emberrel is tortent hasonlo...), szoval nem tudom, a wincsi vagy a haz tipusat kellene az lsusb-nek kiirnia (pendrive eseten egyertelmu, kulso wincsinel sose neztem lsusb-t, mindig ment elsore)

nem tudta kiolvasni a méretet, ergó 2^32-1-et használ méretként. azt kérdezd meg a kód íróitól, hogy ennek mi az értelme...

Konkrétabban: "CONFIG_LBDAF=y"?
Ha magad fordítod a kernelt, akkor meg van a lehetőség, hogy ne a disztribúció archaikus forrását használd. Szerintem fordíts valami naprakész verziót.

Amugy targytalan a tema, kap a ceg egy NAS-t az ezereves P4 helyett, arra ra lehet akasztani kulso wincsit is backupra.
