Azt olvastam, hogy a BIND9-es mar tud tobb processzoron futni ill tobb magon.
Van egy A64 X2-m, csak a BIND fut rajta (sarge+2.6.15-7). A top szepen mutatja, hogy a 0-as magra rault a named es 70-95 %-on hasznalja, de a masik mag szinte nem csinal semmit.
Hogyan lehetne ravenni a bind-ot, hogy hasznalja a masik magot is ?

exim4-et próbálok összehozni amavisd-new-val. A gondom az alábbi: a dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config beállítja elvileg az exim-et, de nem találom a konfig fájlját. /etc/exim4/exim4.conf nem létezik, a /etc/exim4/conf.d-ben pedig egy éves fájlok vannak, tehát ide sem írt semit sem.
Beállítottam, hogy ne darabolja szét a fájlokat, s csak ez módosult: update-exim4.conf.conf.
Ezzel mit lehet kezdeni? Így nem tudok beleírni a konfig fájlba :(

Ubuntu server 6.06-tal szenvedek, egy IBM xSeries226-on, egy MGE Pulsar Evolutin 1100-as UPS-szel.
A UPS (neve az alábbi logokban: 'enyim') USB-n csatlakozik, a newhidups drivert használom.
Probléma: a driver csak akkor találja meg a UPS-t, ha az USB-kábelt kihúzom és visszadugom.
Amit kiderítettem:
-a kernel bootoláskor megtalálja a UPS-t (dmesg):

De amikor kiadom a "dpkg-buildpackage" parancsot akkor a következőt kapom: "dpkg-parsechangelog: error: cannot open debian/changelog to find format: No such file or directory dpkg-buildpackage: unable to determine source package"
Mindenki ezt a patch-et használja, vagy van jobb?

a lenyeg, hogy ujra raktam a debian sarge-t, es a dokumentaciok alapjan ahogy telepitettem annak idejen probaltam telepiteni a kartyat megint, de nem akar mukodni :( mar vagy 3-4-szer ujratelepitettem a rendszert 2 nap alatt (ami nem annyira lelkesito egy 650Mhz-es gepen :) )

Az mitol lehet vajon, hogy apt-get update lefut, upgrade nem, try --fix-missing, apt-get install bitchx, akarmi nem, mindig try --fix-missing, -f-el sem csinal semmit, sources.list tobbszorosen lellenorizve, tobb, azaz regi illetve friss iso-k telepitve, van olyan, hogy pl egy x-window-system-core bekeri ugye, hogy az akarhany megat lehuzza, leokezom, majd szo nelkul 404-el fut vegig.
Friss telepitesnel, etch es sid sources.list-ekkel probalva.
A fent emlitett scannert felizzadtam debian sarge ala. Mukodesre is tudom birni, ha a /proc/usb/002/00x jogosultsagat 646-ra, akkor userken-t is tudom hasznalni. Ellenkezo esetben device not found a hibauzenet. Mit kell ahhoz konfigolnom, hogy userkent is mukodjon rendesen a scanner??
