ATI Radeon 9100 lassu

Hi,

Egy ASUS barebone PC-n hasznalnek Ubuntu 9.10-et, ATI Radeon 9100 IGP integralt videokartyaval. A problema az, hogy akar egy egyszeru gnome-terminal desktop-on torteno mozgatasa kepes teljesen leterhelni a CPU-t. Probaltam IceWM-mel, de ott is hasonloan terheli a procit (jo, kicsit kevesbbe). Nem fut kompozit windowmanager.

Szerintem nem Ubuntu specifikus, de most ez van fent a gepen.

elmondanam a megoldast, de megint jonnenek a nepek, hogy windowsberenc vagyok :-D

az mellesleg egy jo 5 eves kartya (mikor elkezdtem anno Cben videos cuccokat butykolni elso meloban, mar akkor voltak ilyen barebonejaink)

Jó lenne egy kicsit több infó a gépről:
- xorg.conf
- lspci parancs kmenete
- milyen driverrel próbálod használni stb...

Nálam egy X1200-as megy rendesen az OpenSource driverrel. De ismerősnél 9600-at hajt ugyanez.

A 9100 egy R200 alapu kartya, szoval nem a radeonhd hanem a sima x.org radeon driver viszi. Nekem 9200-al eleg szar eredmenyeim voltak sima radeon driverrel, ami ugyanez a chipgeneracio... Sok platformon, PPC-n es x86-on is... A 9600 az R300 alapu kartya, a 3D-je teljesen masik eset, szoval ha ugyanaz is a driver, a composite-hoz hasznalt resze elegge mas, de a 2D-je is viselkedhet tok maskepp.

xorg.conf alapvetoen nincs, built-in beallitasok vannak, de probaltam krealni, "ati" es "radeon" ugyanugy lassu, "vesa"-val meg a felbontas sem volt jo (1280x1024 lenne, ekkora az lcd).

lspci -v:

az Xorg.0.log-ot nem merem idemasolni, mert 67k.
