Most tesztelek egy új Hitachi Ultrastar SCSI merevlemezt. A smartctl -a /dev/sda kimenete a következő:

Az elejéből látszik, hogy csak annyit volt használva a hdd amíg felnyomtam rá az ubuntut. Engem kicsit aggaszt ez a sok olvasási hiba. Egész pontosan mit takarnak ezek az értékek. SCSI terén sajna ennyire nem vagyok otthon. Esetleg azonnal vissza, csere? Azután nőtt meg az olvasási hibák száma, miután párszor próbálkoztam a
dd if=/dev/zero of=test.img bs=1M count=1000
dd if=test.img of=/dev/null

Egy kicsit megnyugodtam, de csak kicsit :). Okozhatja ezeket a hibákat esetleg a kábel, vagy ez így normális hogy vannak olvasási hibák, de a hibajavító javítja?

Találtam leírást a SCSI protokollról:
A sense Key 06h: UNIT ATTENTION ha az Add Sense Code 29h és hardware status 00h, akkor Power On/ Reset/ BUS DEVICE RESET occurred
Ha: 3FH 01H Miscrocode has been changed
Szóval ezek akkor nem rossz error eventek. Mondhatni, normálisak.
