Edgy 3D gyorsítás

Ubuntu Linux

Hát valamiért nem akar összejönni a hardware-es 3D. Minden úgy van belőve, ahogy annak lennie kell, de az fglrxinfo-ra ezt dobja:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Error: unable to open display :0

Az Xorg.conf.0 tartalmaz néhány error-t:

Ezek közül valamelyiknek van szerepe?

Nem találtam a problémával kapcsolatban szinte semmit a neten, vagy ha igen, akkor egyik sem használt. Nem találkozott valaki a HUP-olvasók közül hasonló problémával? Dapper alatt tök egyszerűen összejött a dolog uezzel a konfiggal :(

_Szerintem_ meg kellene próbálkoznod a legújabb ati driverrel mert a mostanival nem kompatibilis az AIGLX, mert úgy tudom, hogy most már alapból benne van az edgy-ben.

az xorg.conf-ban van par sor tok foloslegesen, wacom, stylus, meg meg egy, azokat a serverlayout-ban szerintem ki lehet kommentezni.

aticonfig --help-et is javallom megnezni...

tényleg.

kikommenteztem azokat is, a mostani grep eredménye uaz, csak nincs benne a wacom eszkozok ERROR-uzenete.

a dmesg | grep ATI eredmenye ez a sor:

nekem fglrx nélkül megy, et-vel játszottam is, ati x700m, glxinfo-ban direct rendering: Yes, glxgears nem lök fps-t, ki tudja, miért:)
fglrx előtt nem volt jó?

Nekem egy 3.2 Prescott +2GB DDR400 +Ati 9800Pro 128MB és az eredmény:

ez iszonyúan szánalmas.. egy 566MHz-es cerka megy Geforce2 MX400 310 FPS nyomott ... borzalom amúgy ez az eredmény normálisnak számít egy 9800Pro-tól?

Én is most próbálkoztam... 1. is: AIGLX szerintem csak az open atival megy ha meg azt hasznélod akkor composite "Einabled"
De ha AIGLX et be akarod kapcsolni akkor még hiányzik pár bejegyzés.
Az fglerinfo meg a bináris driver infoja, ha jol láttam akkor a Device ben ATI volt állítva FGLRX helyett... és ha bináris drivert akarsz akor jo a végén a composite 0 vagy disabled de akkor nem lesz AIGLX ed asszem.

8.28.8-as gyári fglrx és ez a konfig hibátlanul fut X700-zal Edgy alatt 32 bites környezetben.
