Ez érdekes lehet:

"The SPARC release includes several improvements over 2006.0, including
InstallCD support for systems with more than 4GB of memory and an
updated toolchain bringing fixes for various compilation problems. Also
new is InstallCD and kernel support for the new UltraSPARC T1 processor
used in the Sun T1000 and T2000 systems."

Ennek biztos örülnek majd a niagara megszállottak :)

mostanában akkor van telepítő felület, vagy konzolról kell feltolni, mint anno 2003-ban kellett? (azóta nem húztam újra...< sarcasm>ez nem winfos :D< /sarcasm>)

Gentoo Linux 2006.1 x86 Handbook:

Hja, nem szemrehányásból idéztem a manual-t, csak lusta voltam gépelni.
Egyébként én még nem próbáltam. Valaki?
A manual alapján kicsit next, next, next, finish jellegű lett, ami nem feltétlen baj, csak behatárolja a lehetőségeket. Pl (hangsúlyozom, a manual alapján) úgy tűnik, grafikusan csak a genkernel-t lehet telepíteni.
Azért gondolom a jó öreg konzolos megoldás is működik...
