Fedora Core_5 kernelfordítási gond

Linux-kezdő

Sziasztok!
Frissen telepítettem az FC5-öt és a fordítás során az alábbi gondom akadt:

A másik problémám az, hogy amikor az Add/Remove softvare csomagkezelőt indítom, nem töltődik le semmi és az erőszakos bezárás előtt kiírja, hogy egy másik folyamat használja a softver információt...
Mi lehet ez és hogyan lehet leállítani, hogy tudjak csomagokat letölteni.

Közben részben megoldottam a gondot. Hiányzott egy csomó gcc csomag illetve ezek függőségei. A # make mrproper lefutott, de utána ez az error fogadott:

NTFS miatt nem kell kernelt forgatnod a fedoraba http://www.linux-ntfs.org/content/view/187 innen szed le patchet és rpm -ivh és utána su- -> modprobe ntfs -> mount ntfs és minden rendben fog menni (mér ha nem használsz volumeG* -ot. De ha azt használsz akkor kernel forditás után se fog menni. ATI drivert meg yum update tel is felteszi ha jól emlékszem (vagy ez sis nél van igy? probald ki) és az /etc/x11/xorg.conf ot szerkeszd meg az ati száj ize szerint. Mindenesetre itt találsz infot az ati telepitéséről http://hup.hu/wiki/index.php/ATI_videokártya_driverének_telepítése .
Sok sikert

Az ATi drivernek nincs sok köze a kernelfordításhoz, legfeljebb, ha az alap kernelben nincs loadable module support (ami beágyazott rendszereken kívül nem sok helyen nincs). Tehát fölösleges.

Debiannál a kernel-source (etchben linux-source) függősége a libncurses-dev, ott azért ment.
