Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

Raid 1, ubuntu szerver, grub nem reagál esc billentyűre, így live cd-t rakattam be, az rendesen elindul. Új kernel install, újraindít, üzenet ugyanez (a másik verzióju kernellel). Csak távolból tudom adminisztrálni, tehát mondjuk memóriát nem tudok cserélni benne.

pedig a csávó még meg is írta:

"i forgot to tell you that update-initramfs is always giving me the following warnings (for every kernel): find: invalid predicate -regextype' find: invalid predicate -regextype' find: warning: unrecognized format directive `%Y'"

na, ezért baszódik el az initramfs, és utána ezért nem bootol belőle.

ott a megoldás is:

To anyone interested, here's my solution:
It was update-initramsfs which caused the above errors (invalid predicate -regextype' find: invalid predicate -regextype').
The created initrd images were broken.
Something was wrong with findutils, so I just reinstalled the package (as well as initramfs-tools) and the problem's gone :-)"

mindig bírtam, amikor valaki leszarja a hibaüzeneteket, majd a végén meglepődik és széttárja a karját, hogy "nemmegy"...
