vmware config probléma

Van egy elég idétlennek tűnő problémám a vmware-el.

Ha el akarom indítani ezzel a hibaüzenettel fogad:

vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for this system. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:
/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl.

Ezután végrehajtom a vmware-config.pl -t, és utánna szépen fut.
Igenám, de ha újraindítom a gépet, minden kezdődik előröl.

A vmware-nek van egy ilyen init scriptje, ami bootolasnal berantja a kernel modulokat. Nezd meg, hogy lefut-e rendesen.

Több kernelem van, de nem váltok köztük. Hogy biztosra menjek leszedtem minden kernel-t az éppen használton kívül.
Végrehajtottam a vmware-config.pl-t és rebootoltam, az eredmény ugyanaz.

A /etc/init.d/vmware start, ugyanezzel a hibajelentéssel áll le.

A /etc/ini.d/vmware-player start pedig ezzel:
Starting VMware services:
Virtual machine monitor done
Virtual ethernet done
VMware Workstation is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the
following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl.

Ilyenkor az lsmod mutatja is a vmmod-t, és a vmnet-et, de a vmware továbbra se fut (a player se).
