Két-három éve vettem egy WNDR3700v4-et, amire OpenWRT-t tettem.
Ennek a modellnek annyi a különlegessége, hogy NAND flash-sel szerelték, mégpedig 128 MB-nyival.
Mostanság buildeltem magamnak egy 18.06.1, amire fel is upgrade-eltem, de egy probléma megmaradt (3 évvel ezelőttről): az írható overlay továbbra is kb. 14 MB.

Tehát röviden: a flash végén van egy nagyobb szabad chunk/partíció, amit adott esetben lehetne használni írható overlay-nek, de sajnos a mostanit és a terület végén levőt nem lehet összevonni.
Vagy legalábbis nem tudom, hogyan kellene.

Most volt egy szabad délutánom, hogy ismét elővegyem az ügyet.
A firmware image-et újrabuildeltem az idézett patch-csel, frissítettem (sysupgrade) rá és a caldata-backup partíciót átmásoltam az új helyére.
Ennek ellenére ezt látom, ami kissé összezavar:

Ebből én azt látom, hogy az új, módosított/partícióátrendezett firmware felkerült az eszközre, és már az új partíciós felosztást használja, de az ubifs gyakorlatbani mérete változatlan, és ugyanúgy csak 11 MB elérhető, mint annak előtte.
Esetleg van valakinek ötlete?

Végül kiderült, hogy a sysupgrade nem elég, hanem a -factory image-et kellett ráflash-selni a TFTP-s módszerrel.
Most már minden OK, és 9x MB látszik mint szabad hely.
