AF_UNIX comes to Windows

Beginning in Insider Build 17063, you’ll be able to use the unix socket (AF_UNIX) address family on Windows to communicate between Win32 processes. Unix sockets allow inter-process communication (IPC) between processes on the same machine.

Mondom én, még pár év, és azon kapjuk magunkat, hogy a Windows is Linux kernellel megy, meg opensource lett. Már most is „foss”, meg van neki előlegezve :D Addigra sem C: meghajtó, sem Registry, sem EXE fájlok, sem más kreténség nem marad benne.
