külső usb-s wifi ---TL-WN722N tplink [Megoldva]

Sziasztok!

Adott egy belső atheros wifikártya wlan0-ként felfedezve.

Adott egy külső, tárgyban szereplő névre halgató wifiegység, külső antennával.

De nem megy.

A jelenség:

ifconfig -a -val viszont csak wlan0 van (az megy most is épp), wlan1 meg nincs.

Mindkettő atheros.

Gyanakszom hogy udev-gond van, mert pendrájvok kézi mountoással mennek, gps antenna megy, kamera megy, külső klaviatúra meg külső wifi nem.

Szerintetek hol érdemes még keresgélni?

wifiway2.0 pendrive-linux zsigerből használja mindkettőt, wlan0 és wlan1 néven...

Picit off: Nekem is van egy ilyenem. Tudja valaki, hogy mit kell telepiteni ahhoz, hogy Scientific Linux alatt menjen? Picit kellemetlen, hogy az Androidos telefonom kell wifi adapternek hasznalnom...

Arra gyanakszom, hogy ha a belő wifikártyámnak van egy kikapcsoló szkriptje, akkor ezek szerint a külsőnek is lehet, de olyat eddig még nem láttam.
Nem vagyok otthon a modprobe- és egyéb dolgokban, szóval a kérdésem naivnak is tűnhet:

hogyan lehet megnézni, hogy modprobe-bal be lehet-e tölteni valamit, ami után esetleg
ifconfig -a
parancs kiadása után kilistázódik az összes usb portra dugott wlankártyámat?

Csak kísérletezek, lehet, hogy köze sincs hozzá.

Próbáltam fapadosan keresgélni minden gyanús szótöredékre, de semmi.

Úgy látszik, ezzel a problémával valóban egyedül vagyok, senki sem használ külső wifiantennát, csak általános kernellel. (azzal nekem is megy, de nem értem, miért..)

Mélyelemzés

Mai rohanó világunkban kevesen gondolnak arra, hogy informatikai anomáliákat, vagy annak vélt, tartott dolgokat verselemzés-szinten boncolgassanak.
Készülőben van egy néhány soros vers...

Előzetesen azonban fontosnak tartom, hogy amolyan ,,történelmi háttérként'' lefessek egy BASH-folyamatot, hogy később a verselemzés gondolataiban hivatkozhassak a versírást kiváltó körülményekre.

A folyamat:
1. lsusb:meg nem dugtam be az eszközt
2. udevadm monitor: itt bedugom az eszközt, udev észleli.
3. ctrl-C
4. lsusb: bent van az eszköz
5. ifconfig -a: nincs wlan1, hogy szakadna meg
6. udevadm monitor: kihúzom az eszközt
7. ctrl-C
8. lsusb: ki van húzva az eszköz
(ezt a folyamatot lejjebb elismétlem általános kernellel is, és még az is látszik, mikor osztja ki a wlan1 nevet az udev...Az ifconfig -a utasítást kihagytam, hiszen van wlan1 és megy is.)

Most akkor mi is a kérdés? Mert nekem van ilyenem, s remekül működik, kérdezzetek bátran.

Amúgy szerintem az lesz a gond - aki olvas /var/log/messages-t, annak ez hamar világossá válik -, hogy az új kernelekben változott talán az API, s nem támogatja az eszköz régi firmware-ét. Így hát tessék firmware-t cserélni, s jó lesz az. Ez olyannyira így van, hogy az én bugreportom hatására került bele Fedora 16-ba az új firmware.

A megoldás éppen ezért disztríbúciótól függ. Fedora 16-on működik.

Egyébként itt található az új firmware.

A kérdés ugyanaz, mint a legelején, hogy miért nem megy őjabb kerneleken a kilső wifiantenna...
Oknyomozást, meg minden egyebet sajátkezűeg indítottam el, szinte vakon. Amit írsz, az új, már nézem is. Ilyesmire nem gondoltam, az udev-et tanulmányozom éppen, hát, az is egy jó vad dolog elsőre.

Letöltém vala a két fájl,
Bemásolám vala a /lib/firmware-be.
Reboot vala.
Lilo vala.
kernel: 3.1.6 vala.
A kártya bent van, de ifconfig -a nem mutatja.
Sebaj.
Kihúzom, bedugom (rutin, ugye...)
Erre bevillan, udev felüvölt: van wlan1 vala.

Köszönöm útmutatásod, egy új világot adtál nekem.
Ezután a firmware-ekkel is vigyázni fogok.

Megy mindenem a kernelemmel!!!!!!
