A lenti cikk szerint az o365 akkora joarcok, hogy az ex dolgozok mailboxait ingyen archivalja. A gond ugye az, hogy aki mar elment, annak nincs AD bejegyzese, se mailboxa, de a levelei azert kellenek.
Egy cegnel 10k aktiv AD account volt, es 50k ex-dolgozo archivuma: "We often see, especially considering legacy archiving systems such as Enterprise Vault were introduced years ago, that there is a significant number of leaver archives that have built up over time. In one case, we saw 10,000 active AD Accounts (Employees) but over 60,000 archives on the legacy archive, resulting in a total of 50,000 leaver archives."
Megoldas? "Microsoft’s suggestion on how to solve the issue without needing to buy 50,000 additional Office 365 licenses, is to put the Mailbox on Legal Hold so that the items in the mailbox can still be discovered/recovered if required. Then, the Office 365 license can be removed and, as a result, the data of the leavers is stored for free by Office 365."

Úgy tűnik a Microsoft SSH támogatást tervez a PowerShell-hez! :) Kiadási ütemterv még nincs, tervezési fázisban van az ügy. Érdekesség, hogy (nem meglepő módon) már korábban is tudtak volna SSH támogatást csinálni de -vélhetően- a menedzsment elvetette az ötletet kétszer is. The linux futex_wait call has been broken for about a year (in upstream since 3.14, around Jan 2014), and has just recently been fixed (in upstream 3.18, around October 2014). More importantly this breakage seems to have been back ported into major distros (e.g. into RHEL 6.6 and its cousins, released in October 2014), and the fix for it has only recently been back ported (e.g. RHEL 6.6.z and cousins have the fix).
The impact of this kernel bug is very simple: user processes can deadlock and hang in seemingly impossible situations.
