Linux Developer, Linux Kernel Specialist

On behalf of our partner - a Finnish IT company - we are searching for professionals to the following positions:

1. Software Integrator (Debian, Linux)

• Good command of Debian packaging
• Debugging skills to pinpoint problems
• Strong communication skills
• Strong knowledge on Linux stack (knows the roles of different components)
• Knowledge on unit testing frameworks
• Skills: Strong C, C++, python scripting
• Tools: Git, Bugzilla, Valgrind, GDB

2. Linux Developer (C++, QT, Meego)

• Strong C++ skills (C knowledge plus)
• Strong Qt skills
• Maemo/Linux frameworks: eg MeeGoTouch, D-Bus
• Power management

3. Linux Kernel Specialist

• Hardware debugging skills
• Linux driver development track record (contributions that have gone to Linux kernel upstream is definite plus)
• Knowledge of kernel development processes
• Knowledge of the modules & user-space components

The positions are located at Oulu or Helsinki.
