OpenBSD

Az OpenBSD misc listán jelentette be Geoff White a MailDroid névre hallgató Mail Filtering Gateway megoldását. A cucc egy mindössze 130MB-os ISO image, amely tartalmaz levelezőszervert (sendmail), spamfiltert (spamassassin), SASL2 auth deamont (cyrus-sasl), víruskergetőt (clamav), webmail alkalmazást (squirrelmail), spam daemont (spamd), pop3s szervert, stb.

A cuccok természetesen OpenBSD-n futnak. Az összetevők chroot-olt környezetben vannak (sendmail, apache, clamav, smtp-vilter, named, PHP4.3.10, stb.), a komponensek egymáshoz vannak illesztve.

Alkotórészek:- sendmail 8.13.8 - standard OpenBSD 3.7 release

- smtp-vilter 1.1.9- connect several milter back-ends to filter your incoming mail

- spamassassin 3.0.2- what more do we need to say?

- cyrus-sasl 2.1.20 - SASL2 authentication daemon to use with sendmail

- clamav 0.85.1- The open source anti virus milter

- squirrelmail 1.4.4 SSL web mail front-end using an internal IMAP server

- spamd - The OpenBSD offensive spam deferral daemon

- pop3s - TLS based POP access (via stunnel 4.08 )

- OpenBSD firewall based on pf

- Chrooted sendmail, apache, clamav, smtp-vilter, named, PHP4.3.10 and more

- Secure Web-based management console

- I32 (x86) machine 300MHz (Pentium III) or better (sorry no 64 bit

support yet, dual CPU is OK!)

- 128MB of memory (512 preferred)

- 20 Gigabyte hard drive

- CDrom (to load software)

- keyboard, VGA monitor (serial support for the console in the BIOS)

- 10/100 base-T Ethernet port

nice, kár hogy a web-based managementről nincs sok info.

This is the first alpha release of maildroid and as such, it will most likely have bugs and problems. In particular, the admin web interface is not yet functional. I debated whether to delay the release until I got it working, but decided that a lot of people out there could use what is already working so here it is! "

amig nem 4.3.11 es php-t vagy 5.0.3 as php -t hasznal addig nem egeszen up to date.

Koszi a sok lelamazo hozzaszolast, valoban az elso 2 sorat nem olvastam el a bejelentesnek, a tobbit atfutva meg ugyan az mint a fenti cikk ezert batorkodtam rakerdezni. Kozben megjelent freshmeaton is.
