Position: Customer Services Representative
Job Reference Number: 0306-001
Salary: The annual salary for this position is between € 30,632 and € 38,293.
Duties:
* Be the first point of contact for the RIPE NCC, managing each enquiry or request efficiently to ensure a high level of customer service
* Liaise closely with other RIPE NCC departments to ensure consistency and continuity of services to members
* Areas covered by the Customer Services Department:
o New membership application support
o Support for membership billing
o Acting as the ongoing contact point between customers and 'second line' RIPE NCC departments
o First point of contact for questions from non-members
o RIPE Database support

Specific Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Experience in a customer service environment
* A strong administration/billing/customer service background
Or
* Experience in a first line technical service environment
* Strong customer focus
Skills:
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Working knowledge of MS Office and/or Mac OS
* The ability to learn new systems and easily pick up new processes
* Experience of working independently and as part of a team
Experience working for an ISP in a contact or service centre is a bonus.
