Lassú Internet SUSE Linux alatt. Miért?

Sziasztok!

Olyan problémám lenne, hogy nagyon lassú az Internetem Linux alatt. Suse Linux 10-es verzióját használom, hálozati kártya típusa: Realtek RTL8029(AS) PCI Ethernet, kábelmodem: Thomson TCM 420F. Chello kábel netet használok 2,5 Mb-s sebességgel. Windows alatt minden frankón működik, de Linux alatt maximum 960 b/s -al tudok netezni. Szóval net az van, de rohadt lassú.
Remélem minden technikai információt megadtam. Jó lenne, ha tudna valaki segíteni.

Egy lspci parancs?
Valami irq gebaszra tippelek linux alatt.

A 8029 az olyan, amiben még van BNC és UTP is, igaz? Ha igen, akkor nekem anno a FreBSD (ami ugye nem Linux) 5.3 valami egész másnak ismerte fel, igaz, működött - ebből ne következtess semmire csak mondom, hogy lehet driverprobléma, de nem hinném.

Ahogy Polesz is mondta, lspci, de nem ártane egy uname -a és dmesg sem.

Az oldalak megnyitása, es minden ami a neten zajlik!
Win alatt amugy normalis, de itt pl az van hogy megnyitom a gmail.com ot sokat vár, majd utana gyorsan betölti azt, tehát valahol várakozik, es azt nem tudom hol.

meg ubuntu alatt is eszleletem a hibat!

Próbáld ki, hogy ha egy sok MB-os fájlt töltesz le, az is lassabb-e, mint Windowson. Ha a DNS-re gyanakszol, akkor próbáld ki, hogy a [code]nslookup google.com[/url] parancsra, és más domainnevekre gyorsan választ kapsz-e.

Csak webböngészésnél tapasztalod a lassulást, vagy más protokolloknál (pl. FTP, vagy nagy e-mailek letöltése levelezőklienssel) is? Ha csak webböngészésnél, akkor milyen webböngészőt használsz? (Van olyan webböngésző, ami csak akkor jeleníti meg az oldalt, amikor már nagyjából az egészet letöltötte, és van, amelyik már a töltés közben is
megjeleníti, amit már letöltött.)

Ha pingeled a routert, mennyi idő alatt kapsz választ Windowsból, ill. Linuxból?

(Nem garantált, hogy tudunk segíteni, de mindenképpen meg kell próbálnod pontosabban behatárolni a problémát, mert ha csak annyit mondasz, hogy lassú a net, arra biztos, hogy nem tudunk mit mondani.)

Lássuk csak, egy probléma van, az a net (:80) . Az FTP és mail dolgok gyorsan töltődnek ( csatlakozás után). A nettel is az a problema, hogy sokat vár, majd gyorsan betölti a lapot ( de folyamatos betöltéssel, tehát nem beölti majd megjeleniti, hanem valamiert hezitálgat a lap letöltésének elkezdése előtt)

Böngészőm: FF3, de Operával is lassan kapcsolódik a szerverekhez.

Egyszóval botrányos. Win alatt természetesen normális ping van, egyből.

Az MSN protokollra való csatlakozás is dög lassan indul be.

A kb. 10 ms-os ping teljesen normális, attól nem kéne lassúnak lennie. (Amúgy kevered a fogalmakat, a netbe az FTP, mail stb. is beletartozik, amit te netnek nevezel, az a web.)
nslookup index.hu és hasonló parancsok (különböző hostnevekkel) gyorsan visszatérnek? Normálesesetben másodperc töredéke alatt vissza kell térniük.
Kábellel kapcsolódsz a routerhez? (Nem vezeték nélküli routeren keresztül netezel?)

A 2 mp gyanús, hogy DNS probléma. Ugyanazt a névszervert használod, mint Windowson? (Ezt most nem tudom, hogy hol lehet biztosan megtalálni, talán valaki megmondja.) ping-nél nem normális a hosszú várakozás; kipróbálhatod, hogy nem host nevet pingelsz, hanem (a korábbi ping által kiírt) IP címet, és ha így is lassú, akkor nem csak a DNS-sel van probléma. Ha úgy nem lassú, akkor a DNS-sel van a probléma.

Azt vettem észre, hogy a MAC cím itt nem azonos a Modem diagnosztikánál megadott MAC-el. Lehet ez a hiba oka? Ha igen akkor ezt, hogy tudom Linuxban átírni?

Nekem is volt hasonló gondom ugyancsak Realtek 8029(AS) halókártyával, Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9.x esetén. Mivel a frissithetőség hiánya miatt már rég át akartam térni másra, lecseréltem. Ha jól emlékszem akkor másik hálókártyával működött rendesen, de arra már nem emlékszem, hogy a csere előtt vagy után cseréltem kártyát.
