Sziasztok,

Egy furcsa problemaba futottam bele nem reg. Van egy laptopom Ati Mobility Radeon M6 -os kartyaval amely nem fglrx tamogatott, hanem az X drm altal.

Be van allitva opengl es egyebek, a glxgears 770 fps kornyeken teker, de a cpu 100%-on van vegig. OpenGL-es kepernyovedokkel is ugyanez a helyzet, megy minden vadul, de a procit zabalja vegig.

Szal, ha futtatok egy nativ alkalmazast amely opengl-t igenyel, latszolag gond nelkul megy, viszont cedega felett csak szoftveres rendering mukodik. Ilyenkor a 0.5 fps kornyeki atlagot lehet gyanitani.

Ugyanez az az alkalmazas a sima wine-al szepen megy, talan nem tulzok, ha azt mondom, hogy sokkal gyorsabban mint vindozon, viszont wine alatt nincs hozza hang.

Most jon a legerdekesebb resz: A fenti glxinfo kimenet mellett a cedega hw-tesztje azt mondta, hogy se opengl, se hw accel nem elerheto. Ezutan kikapcsoltam a kernelbe levo dri-t es feltettem az xorg dri moduljait. A nativ alkalmazasok eseten semmi nem valtozott, viszont a cedega alatt az opengl fut, a hw accel viszont tovabbra sincs.

1. Amit nem igazan ertek az az, hogy ha egy nativ opengl-es alkalmazast futattok, akkor miert emeszti fel a teljes processzoridot?

2. Hogyan lehetne esetleg korlatozni az fps-t kb 25-30 kornyekere? (sztem ez az ertek boven eleg lenne)

3. Hogyhogy cedega felett csak szofveres abrazolas van, wine felett pedig megy a hw accel?
