Sziasztok,

nem az elso raid-et sikerult beuzemelnem, altalaban gondozasmentesen es laikus szemeimnek logikusan vegeztek is a dolgukat eddig.

Mar az is megesett, hogy hdd-csere utan sync-re kerult sor, tehat lattam gepet ilyen tevekenyseg kozben.

Most azon aggodom, hogy vajon mi miatt lehetett, hogy egy uj keszulek uzembe allitasanal egy sync annyira megfogta a gepet, hogy egeszen addig nem reagalt sem halozati keresekre, sem konzolon tortent matatasra, amig egyik md sync-jerol at nem tert a masik md sync-jere. Akkor egy pillanatnyi fellelegzesben lereagalt mindent, amit konzolon kapott, aztan ismet mely sync-alomba merult...

Az elozmenyek:
keszulek kapott 1 db hdd-t, fellabu raid-kent elinditva rajta 4 particiot, majd egy ido utan (3 het) megkapta a masik labat. Elkeszult a particionalas, majd a tombokbe felfuzese az uj particioknak. Na ekkor "allt meg" a keszulek, egeszen a sync-ek vegeig megszunt szamara a kulvilag.

Bar fellabu raid-re telepitest most csinaltam eloszor, de hdd-csere miatti sync-et mar lattam.

Mitol lehet ez a "bezarkozas"?

Egyeb, hibara utalo jel nincs, a sync utan nem tapasztaltunk torpanast.

Erdekes, hogy a sync alatt meg dhcp-t osztani sem tudott, a konzolon nem tudtam realtime loginolni (kesobb ugye minden billleutest "razuditott", de az meg a 60s loginablakon tul volt mar)...

Nekem akkor volt ilyen amikor a WD Green vinyókat nem ette igazán a Silicon Image kártya. Seagate vinyókkal meg prímán ment...

Szerk: sőt hibás memória modul is okozott ilyet egy gépünkben, a memtest természetesen hibátlannak látta, szóval lehet hogy csak az adott alaplapot nem szerette...

Persze lehet, hogy emiatt lassabban dolgozott, de sync eseten a masodik disk-re kellett irnia (az kerult be kesobb).
Ez meg ugye Read_error. Tehat lehet,hogy megsem dolgozhatott emiatt lassabban.

Masreszt ez Pre-Fail ertek, a TRESHOLD-ja 016, az értéke 099, a legroszabb érték 099....

Nem vagyok nagy SMART ertelmezo-guru, de akar ugy is ertelmezhetem, hogy ez O.K.

gagyi alaplap és diszkek... pl. ide emulációban futó diszkek ahci helyett...
nekem is van ilyen gépem, pedálozok is költségért jobbra...
200 gigás partíciót majdnem két napig syncelt, közben 10 fölötti loadok voltak...

Nekem nem olyan rég volt az, hogy egy Seagate winyó elég durván lelassította a rendszert. Szintén SATA2, Linux RAID1. Se dmesg, se SMART nem mutatott semmilyen rendellenességet, csak rohadt lassú volt minden. Szinte üresjárat mellett a sync parancs percekig blokkolt. A cat /dev/sda >/dev/null és a cat /dev/zero >/tmp/zero is relatíve jó értéket mutatott. Amikor kivettem a RAID-ből a beteg winyót, minden jó lett. Kicseréltem egy Hitachi winyóra és azóta is gyorsaság van. Ezzel nem azt mondom, hogy a Seagate rossz, csak a példát próbálom konkrétan leírni.

USB-rol tudom, hogy egy hubon ket port van, igy az adott ket csatlakozo osszefugg.

Sata-ban is van ilyen?

Ezen a lapon tobb sata port van, ha nem lenne rapakolva a serverre, akkor pikk-pakk atdugnam, es...
...es nem tudom, mit csinalnek. Kivennem az egyik disket a raidbol, majd kesobb visszaraknam, hogy sync-eljen? Lehet. De sajnos eleg jol el van asva a szerkezet.
