Ubuntu 7.04 + Voodoo Banshee + 19" TFT miért csak 800x600

Sziasztok!

19" TFT, Voodoo Banshee max 800x600-ban megy gnome
alatt. Az xorg.conf rendben van, ott szerepel
az 1280x1024 is.

Próbáltam a 16 ill 24 bitben is, de ugyanúgy
nem tudok nagyobb kiválasztani.

A neten olvastam olyan hozzászólásokat, amiben
úgy tűnik, hogy megy 1280x1024-ben.

WinXP alatt semmi gond.

Na megint keresgettem a neten, meg a szomszédos fórumokban és olyanokat
olvastam, hogy videókaritól függetlenül nem megy nekik 1280x1024-ben a
monitor.

Scanline-okat meg nem találtam a hardver leírásban.
Information sheetet sem találtam a netet hozzá.

60Hz-et kell neki előállítani.

A fehér színkoordinátái, 9300 K : x = 0,283 / y = 0,297
Maximális felbontás : 1280 x 1024, 75 Hz-en (digitális bemenet)
Ajánlott felbontás : 1280 x 1024, 60 Hz-en (digitális bemenet)
Képpont érték : 140 MHz
Vízszintes letapogatási frekvencia : 30–83 kHz
Függőleges letapogatási frekvencia : 56-76 Hz
sRGB : Igen

Ok, megvan a technikai doksi.
De ennek ellenére nem vált jól 1280x1024-re.

Azaz mikor kiválasztom a gnomeban a 1280x1024@60-at,
akkor a moncsi fekete lesz, és elkezd mászkálni a
"CANNOT CHANGE TO THIS DISPLAY MODE. USE 1280x1024 at 60Hz".
Pedig épp oda váltottam.

Alatta megy az 1024x768@75 és az 1280x1024@75, de jobb oldalt
szellemképes, és eszméletlen csúnya, emellett villog is.

Próbáld meg így:
VertRefresh 56-61

Ha nem jó kommentezd ki a DPMS sort.

Ha akkor sem, próbáld ki fbdev vagy svga driverrel, ha akkor sem, próbáld ki Live CD-s disztróval tdfx driverrel.
Ha akkor sem akkor passz.
(Remélem az X-et újraindítottad a módosítások után.)

Ok, végig próbálgattam, amit írtál, de ugyanaz a jelenség.

Az Ubuntuban a tdfx driverrel fut.

Debian alatt, ugyanúgy tdfx driverrel ment simán 1280x1024@60-ban.

Lehet, hogy valami modeline kellene, de itt TFTnél nincs
elektronsugár túlfutás, meg hasonlók, úgyhogy nem tudom
hogy kellene...

Ezt próbáltam, de megint CANNOT USE THIS MODE ... lett a vége.
Mármint az OSD mutatta és feket kép volt.

Ok, ez már haladás. Ezzel a modeline-nal elértem azt, hogy 1024x768-ban 60hz-en
szellemkép vagy képhiba nélkül jelenjen meg a kép. Köszi.

Sajna így az 1280x1024 felbontást már nem is mutatja a gnome. De már így
1024x768-ban is jobb.

Ha valaki tud jobb modeline-t, hogy az 1280x1024 is menjen, akkor írjon.
Már így is sokkal jobb, köszi.

Na most reboot után megint nem jó.

A gdm "hullámzik", 1024x600-ban van, csak saccolni tudom, nem ér végig a képernyőn
hosszában. 61-hzet írt a monitor.

A gnome mikor bejött, ismét 800x600-ban volt, nem tudni miért.
1024x768@60 csúnya volt most 1024x768@75 van, de szellemkép is van.
