Apple and Google are building a coronavirus tracking system into iOS and Android

It would basically pick up the signals of nearby phones at 5-minute intervals and store the connections between them in a database. If one person tests positive for the novel coronavirus, they could tell the app they’ve been infected, and it could notify other people whose phones passed within close range in the preceding days.

Apple and Google will introduce a pair of iOS and Android APIs in mid-May and make sure these health authorities’ apps can implement them. During this phase, users will still have to download an app to participate in contact-tracing, which could limit adoption. But in the months after the API is complete, the companies will work on building tracing functionality into the underlying operating system, as an option immediately available to everyone with an iOS or Android phone.

Nem ismerem a megvalósítás részleteit, de ultrasonic kommunikációt már ezer éve végeznek a mobilok.

Ultrasonic communication enables to pair devices, exchange information but also to track users and their behavior across several devices similar to cookies in the web. Every device with a microphone and a speaker is able to send and receive ultrasonic information. The user is usually not aware of this inaudible and hidden data transfer.

Nem egy nagy was ist das.. Azt csodálom, hogy nem volt egy egyszerű switch erre, amit most csak be kellett kapcsolni.
3-5 m távolságban simán működik kültéren is, ami pont elég a koronavírus terjedése szempontjából. Még sok is.

Akkor mondjuk egy compass működne kikapcsolt Bluetooth mellett is.

Utánaolvasva, gyak. a scanning-et kell kikapcsolni, így bukod a nagypontosságú helymeghatározást, de marad a privacy.

Egy hónapja jutott eszembe hogy megy a háttérben a Google helyadat. (Egy éve kikapcsoltam, de pár hete egy pillanatra be. Minden benne volt az elmúlt egy évről) Ezzel lehetne nézni hogy ki találkozhatott a vírussal. Mondjuk nem olasz mintára (mindennap party) hanem heti 2-3 kimozdulas esetén. 

Jogilag erkolcsileg nem tudom hova tenni. Business ugyileg az idei év kuka. Emiatt tartom fontosnak a megelőzést.
