Project / Daily Responsibilities:
- On-Going Support:
- Provide IT Operations support for all managed systems and system administration as appropriate while exceeding corporate service level agreements
- Analyze and propose additional actions to increase the reliability and performance of IT platforms
- Take part actively in server consolidation and virtualization global IT project
- Implement Server Consolidation to incorporate backup and recovery strategies, disk management strategies, server utilization strategies
- Execute incident, problem and change management processes
- Face off to business customers ensuring excellent customer service
Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience in Information Technology
- Visual Studio .Net development experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Middleware technologies experience
- Strong working experience on Middleware technologies such as IIS, Websphere, WSL, WebConnect 3270 emulator, Apache web server, Oracle Application Server, Oracle http server, Tomcat, LDAP
- Must have UNIX and Windows background
- Unix and Windows scripting skills
- Good understanding of databases (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
