gam_server process - Mi ez?

Üdv,

Tudnátok segíteni kideríteni, hogy mit csinál a gam_server process? Tudom hogy nem kernel szintű service, hanem felhasználói szinten fut.

Elolvastam a Gamin projekt oldalát is, meg Google-ben talált fórumokat. De mindenki arról ír, hogyan szeretnék leállítani.

Egyszerűen nem találok infót arról, hogy konkrétan mire jó? Azt tudom hogy fájlok változását monitorozza kérés alapján. De azt is akkor, ha egy másik program kéri.

Konkrétan nem látom át hogy eltávolítása mit eredményezne.
