ESXi - Halokartya nem latszik

Sziasztok,

Adott egy ESXi 6.0 (U3), amibe az alabbi halokartya van: Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X520-SR2 (SN: E10G42BFSR)

Mar van benne egyeb halokartya, 0-8-ig fol is ismeri a NIC-eket a VMware. a 9-10 viszont nem latszik a halozati eszkozok kozott...

Viszont, ha lekerem a PCI eszkozoket CLI-vel, szepen latszik a NIC9-10... valamint VMware alatt PCI Passthrough-al is latszik az eszkoz...

Probaltam 3 kulonbozo kartyat (2 E10G42BFSR 1 E10G42BTDA ) de semmi eredmeny, nem latja a VMware... Probaltam frissiteni a drivert, de ugy sem... Masik Hostban ezek a kartyak mukododtek.

Nincs otletem, a CLI szerint ugye ott van az eszkoz, tehat hardveresen nincs gond, csak a VMware nem latja.

A host, amiben mukodott, szinten ESXi 6.0 (U3).

Egyeb info: A tobbi kartya nem ilyen tipusu.

Ehh szenvedek mar 2 oraja a firmware update-el... Az update catalog lejon, altszik h mibol van frissebb, de ha ramegyek a letoltesre, nem sikerul neki...

az ftp.dell.com-al van gond? mert ha megprobalom megnyitni PC-rol, egybol atiranyit a downloads.dell.com-ra

Szerk: Megprobalom ISO-rol a firmware update-et. Ehh ennyi szenvedes egy nyamvadt halokartya miatt....

A Firmware update rendben lefutott, de sajnos nem segitett, a VMware meg mindig nem latja...

Illetve jó lenne tudni milyen SFP-ket használsz a problémás kártyákon. Ha nem Intel/Dell, akkor egy olyan tesztet megér hogy gép kikapcs, SFP-k kihúz, gép bekapcs, boot, majd boot után SFP vissza.

Ha minden jol ment, akkor kiirja hogy reboot require.
Inditsd ujra a hostot es add hozza az uj kartyat. ;)

Hozzaadtam az altalad linkelt drivert, most mar ez latszik:

Megoldodott :) Az SFP modul volt a gond. Kicsereltem Intel-re, egybol megy :)
