Kubuntu 7.10 + Compiz

Sziasztok!

Innet a HUP-rol, ebbol-abbol osszeolloztam mi is kell a KDE alatti compiz mukodesehez. Ugy lattam ezek a csomagok:
- compiz-core
- compiz-fusion-plugins-extra
- compiz-fusion-plugins-main
- compiz-kde
- compiz-plugins
- libcompizconfig-blackend-kconfig
- emerald

Szepen meg is jelent a K menuben a Beallitasok alatt az Emeralt es a compiz beallito paneleket meghivo menupontok.

Toltottem le emerald themet, mert az olvastam, az nem mukodik tokeletessen, amik alapbol vannak...

Inditottam konzolbol a compizt mindenfele parancsal:
compiz --replace
compiz --replace -c emerald & (a -c kapcsolot nem ismerte)

a vegeredmeny mindig ugyanaz lett, eltuntek az ablakkeretek, joforman csak egerrel lehetett hasznalni a desktopot. Persze 0 effekt, kocka nem porgott :)

Valamit kihagytam volna, vagy nem jol csinaltam?
Valakinek mukodik mar szuperul KDE alatt?

Nem szeretem ezeket a radikalis desktop modositasokat, de mivel sokan irtam, hogy mennyire bejott nekik, gondolom kiprobalom, de hat...

indítsd konzolból és nézd meg, hogy miért száll el. valamint van rendes 3D-s gyorsítás?

KDE-vel amúgy sem egy nagy élmény, mivel a KDE és a compiz developereknek eltérő véleményük van arról, hogy a 4 desktop az 4 viewport, vagy 4 virt. desktop, úgyhogy pl. a pager szarul működik, pedig elég fontos lenne.
A compiz által nyújtott ablakkezelő is jóval butább, mint a kwin. Úgy látszik minden kde fejlesztő a kwin4 compiz-szerű képességeire gyúr/vár inkább.

Jól működik próbáltam.

Nekem XGL ment és Beryl hozzá. A Beryl/Emerald csomagok Feisty-ben defektesek. Az Xpress200M-el nem mentek, elképzelhető hogy van még olyan kártya amivel szintén nem jók.
A http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org feisty main repo-ból kell őket letölteni. Gusty-ban nem tudom...majd mostan nekem is kéne upgradelnem de nincs időm. Egy próbát megér hátha az a gond. Amúgy milyen hardver?

apt-get install beryl=0.2.0~0beryl1 verzió ami nekem működik. Amúgy a beryl-manager-t próbáld indítani. Simán Beryl paranccsal nekem is csak az ablekkeretek tűntek el...:D

nálam se megy de köszy a listát

Ebből nálam jó ha 2 csomag fenntvan, Ha elindítom a COmpozitot nálam is eltűnnek az ablakkeretek és semmi effekt.
No erre kiváncsi vagyok ha telepítem az összes csomagot akkor mit reagál rá.
jejeee felraktam és nálam megy pár effekt!
Igaz özön hibát ki ír amikor elindul de legalább megy.

Kocka van elvileg, de csak 2 munkaasztallal, alt tabbal valami hihetetlen rossz a váltogatás, viszont maga ha ráklikkelek egy ablakra és felpattan az egész szépen kijön az az effekt.
Meg hiányol valami gconfot ami fene se tudja merre van:(

lassan de haladok vele:)
van kocka és kockaforgatás is már.
Tehát Kde-s társaimnak ajánlom compozithoz ezt a csomagot:
apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
majd a beállításoknál az advanced Effect Setting nél kézzel bepipálni pár dolgot és már is jobb lessz a compozit kde alatt mint volt sokkal!:)

mostmár nagyon frankó kde alatt a compozit, sikerült stabillá állítgatni be és gyorsá mert kicsit lomha volt.
"System -> Preferences -> Desktop Effects

Bejelöltem a "Workspaces on a Cube" pontot, "
Találtam egy ilyet trey írásában. Na de sajna nálam System-Preferences és Desktop Effect menü nincs:(
Csak Advanced desktop Effect Setting:(
Nem tudja valaki ezt a pontot hol találom meg Kde alatt?
