Siemens IT Solutions and Services is looking for an experienced HP-UX system administrator.
Tasks:
2nd- and 3rd level operations of high availability HP-UX systems and services
Installation, Configuration and Decomission of servers and components.
Working on / review of technical designs, concepts and solutions for the customer or operations internally
Evaluation and tests of new products
Working in Transition- and Transformation and Migration-Projects
Ensuring daily operations by:
- Configuration Management
- Change Management
- Problem- / Incident-Management & Troubleshooting
- Performance-Management
- Capacity Management
- Knowledge-Managament (Documentation of results and know how)
- Ensuring Information security
Requirements:
- Strong experience in HP-UX system administration
- Shell and Perl knowledge
- Working knowledge of German and English
- Driving license
- Readiness to do overtime and work out of business hours (at night / on weekends)
Place of work: Vienna with limited travel (15%) in Europe
