The Echo of Bergamo and InTwig, a research and analysis agency, decided to launch an in-depth investigation in the 243 Bergamo municipalities. Each individual administration will ask for information on resident deaths in the first three months of 2020 to compare mortality compared to previous years. In the absence of extensive monitoring of the infected, the death toll is in fact (and unfortunately) the only real meter on which an analysis can be made.
