Salary: The annual salary for this position is between € 50,714 and € 61,372

Duties:

* Working with senior management to develop and maintain an enterprise information security policy framework, and with departmental managers to develop and maintain information security policies
* Managing, monitoring and maturing security processes
* Improving security awareness and instilling a risk-aware culture in the organisation, ensuring that key enterprise personnel fully understand the risk implications of their IT assets
* Identifying enterprise systems, processes and information resources that require security protections
* Performing security audits and checking compliance with the information security policies
* Conducting risk and control assessment within the IT organisation
* In consultation with the IT organisation, evaluating and implementing effective security technologies and architecture
* Developing an annual security plan
* Investigating new security threats and market trends
* Measuring and reporting security activities within the RIPE NCC

Specific Qualifications and Experience Required:

* Four or more years of experience in network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments
* Security certifications (GIAC, CISSP, etc.)
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
* Ability to prioritise, plan and balance work
* Ability to effectively work in a team environment
* Strong people management skills
* Excellent written and spoken English
