Visszaléptetés nem megválasztott jelölt csere. Ráadásul az egész választási rendszer teljesen más szisztémán alapul; amolyan jelölt választási procedúra után erőszakkal léptették vissza a már kiválasztott Bidét.
Nem mondható, hogy példátlan: 1968-ig visszamenve volt már rá korábban példa a történetükben, bár akkor a feltételes elnök jelölt önszántából lépett vissza:
