Most találtam rá, egyből rá is tettem a mentést végző Rpi-mre a pincében.
Kicsi, egyszerű, minimalista, elfér(ne) 1GB-os SD kártyán, egyből DHCP-n kér ip-t és az SSHD engedélyezve (root-nak is).
rsync, apcupsd, hostapd telepítése után már megy is a mentés ismét.

Droplock - BattleHack LA 2015

Our solution we built for the hackathon builds upon Dropbox to lock down a user’s computer, we call it Droplock.

Basically, a user logs into a webapp or can use their Pebble to lock or unlock their computer. When the system is put into a “lock” state. The compromised system immediately responds by taking pictures and saving location info into a hidden Dropbox folder.

This information is then synced with our servers and viewable online where a user can access it.

We felt the thief should have the option to redeem themselves, so we included: a method for the thief to pay it forward(using JustGiving) to donate a set amount to charities, or paying back a set amount for the device(using Braintree).

Háromféle microSD kártyával próbáltam (Samsung 16GB Class10, Transcend 8GB Class4, Sandisk Ultra 32GB Class10-UHS1), egyikkel sem bootolt (piros led).

Megoldás:

Azaz kell neki egy full erase és utána 4M-s blokkmérettel kell az imagefile-t felírni, végén egy sync.

Szerk.: innen van egyébként, de a dokumentáció tökéletlenségét mutatja hogy kb. ötféleképpen van leírva a kártyakészítés menete, saját pechemre ezt olvastam ötödiknek :)

Eddig nem ismertem, Windows alatt a Printscreen+Irfanview combót használom, de kellett valami Ubuntu alá is.

Nagyon jó funkciói vannak, a kijelöléseket még capture előtt tudod mozgatni, a beépített editorával pedig jelölni, feliratozni is tudsz egyből. A mentés is automata stb.. Érdemes megnézni aki még nem ismerte és ilyesmire van szüksége.

Kihasználva a két hét munkautazást(NY) rendeltem egy ilyent.
