Notebookcsere projekt: Lenovo Thinkpad R400

Körülbelül egy hónapja írtam arról, hogy itt lenne az ideje notebookot cserélni. A Compaq 6720s jól szolgált az elmúlt 2,5 évben, de ideje továbblépni. Szóval most keresési fázisban vagyok. Az egyik jelölt a Lenovo Thinkpad R400-a. Ugyan sok-sok évvel ezelőtt volt rossz tapasztalatom (akkor még) IBM Thinkpad-dal, de arra gondoltam, hogy adok egy esélyt most az R400-nak.

Dobtam bele egy Natty CD-t és Live módban megnéztem mit dob.

Unity azonnal elindul, hang van, WiFi csont nélkül megy, suspend megbízhatóan működni látszik (5 sleep, 5 resume probléma nélkül lement).

ok. _szerintem_ egy telibeb4szott 12"-os kijelzőn x1200-ban nem lehet napi 10 órán át dolgozni, kivéve ha a munkád nem pl. óránként két kattintás egy 3 cella széles táblában. főleg nem szemüveges / lencsés felhasználónak. 10 óra+ && lencse befigyel a topik nyitójánál _szerintem_, akit egyébként még a 14"-os "kicsi" kijelző méret is megrémít.

ui én bárkit leültelték az ex x61-em elé. pár óra még csak csak okés, de teljes munkaidőben évekig jajj. szerintem.

Most ez van kéznél 4 GB RAM-mal. Vannak Dell-el, HP-k meg egyéb bánatok is Core i3-mal, Core i5-tel, de vagy a hardverük nem tetszik, vagy a billentyűzetük (numerikus pad mi a vérnek a notebookra?), vagy más bajom volt velük. Most ezt megnézem, ha jó jó, ha nem, akkor nyilván választok valami mást. Volt egy Dell is az előbb nálam, de azzal is volt valami nyűgöm. Az a helyzet, hogy mindegyiknél azt érzem, hogy kell valami kompromisszumot kötni. Talán ennél a legkevesebbet.

Egyébként mi a lényeges különbség az R meg a T 400 közt (14 inch)?

Ugy latom, hogy az R400 egy az egyben megkapta az elozo generacios T sorozat (T61) hazat, ugyhogy magnezium rollcage ebben is van. (Sarkanal tartod, nem nyeklik az egesz gep.) Viszont az R sorozatba -tobbek kozt- gagyibb kijelzoket tesznek...

Konkrétan éppen a T400-asnak van a leggagyibb kijelzője az összes közül, méltán hírhedt, az arról áttérők úgy szokták mondani, hogy T400-asom volt, nincsenek igényeim a kijelzővel szemben.

Nem tudom, van itthon T400 és T410, igazából egyik kijelzőjével sincs bajom.

A nagyon alacsony kontrasztarány (metálszürke fekete) és hogy nem képes a színek többségét megjeleníteni (a színátmeneteknél látszik leginkább, hogy csak néhány ezer színt tud megjeleníteni a panel), valamint, hogy már szemből is gamma és color shift jelentkezik (a betekintési szög nagyon alacsony) egyáltalán nem feltűnő?

Akkor lehetséges, hogy ez egy jobb darab, mert egyik sem olyan látványos a felsoroltak közül. A T410-esnek nagyon szép képe van, de a T400-as se panaszkodhat, pedig az már lehúzott pár évet.

Nekem ezek vannak kéznél, de nyilván ez nem sokat ér így. Viszont tényleg jobb anyagból van a T széria. A billentyűzet az kb. ugyanaz mindkettőnél, HW is nagyon hasonló (ez a T400 -as az általad kipróbált R400 -astól belülről csak kb. abban különbözik, hogy P8600 -as proci van benne).

Hiperszuper anyagból nem kell lennie. Masszív legyen, de két év múlva úgyis megy a levesbe, szóval űrtechnológia nem kell. Ami aggaszt az a kis kijelző inkább.

-néhány fedélzeti extra hiánya, sok esetben extra hw hiánya, hdd ap-hez mozgásérzékelő fpr stb. látom amit kinéztél van fpr.
-váz más szerkezetű, nem csak anyagszerkezetre értve, így gyengébb
-a gép jellemzően vastagabb és picivel nehezebb
-kijelző jellemzően az ~olcsó(bb)szar fajtából
-fentiek miatt extra-garancia alapból nuku

ui én spec elfogadnám ezt a R400-at újonnan, de nekem mondjuk ennél erősebb a T60-am, pedig az _4 éves_. szóval engem inkább az architekturális különbség izgatna, c2d-t már nem vennék/kérnék. mint írtad két évre tervezel és a 6670 már most nagyon nuku.

(kicsit) más: fentebbi márkák alapján vígan elmondható, hogy nem is igazán a márkán van a hangsúly (kivéve HP, ha agyonvernek sem). a Lenovo/IBM azért ivódott így a köztudatba, mert a palettájuk gerincét a kiforrott és masszív üzleti modellek adják, nem pedig a teszkós 90e ft-os szarok. ergo van Dell-ből is olyan, hogy a likamat sem törölném ki vele, ehhez képest ez az R400 tökéletes, csak ne C2D lenne, vagy legalább nem ilyen nokedli darab.

Mit ajánlanál, ha a kijelző minősége és a csendesség lenne az elsődleges szempont?

ha miller lennék, T510-et biztosan vennék valami értelmesebb kiépítésben - de annyira jó a felvetett kérdés, hogy utána kéne járnom tisztességesen minden modellnek kívül-belül. szervizbe ugyebár még nem esett T510 :) így csak rövid időre volt a kezemben mikor eladtunk, de húha az obabasz nagyon odabasz.

Amikkel én találkoztam T szériánánl (T400, T410) azoknál a kijelzők a lehető legvackabbak voltak, mindent alulmúltak, nem hiszem, hogy ennél rosszabbakat használhatnának az R szériában.

T400-ban van két féle technika, T410-nél mind egy típus, LED-es.

Mindegyiknél többféle kijelző választható, de amennyire tudom a fehér LED háttérvilágítás sem segít rajtuk sokat (mások tapasztalatai alapján mindössze a kontrasztarányon javít).

410-esnél mind ledes, csak a felbontás változik.
400-asnál nem csak ledes van.

Ez azért nem ilyen egyszerű, az LG és a Samsung panelek is megtalálhatóak pl. a T400-asokban, sőt AUO-sat is láttam már.

Nekem Samsungos volt, CCFL háttérvilágítással, aminek alacsony a fényereje és kontrasztaránya.

A Thinkpadeknél a kijelző sokszor lutri, szemben azzal ha egy Dell Latitude-ot veszel UltraSharp felárral akkor tudod hogy mit kapsz.

Ha lehetőséged van akkor T széria felé kacsintgass, (lehet, hogy a marketing gépezet kreálmánya) egy kicsit talán masszívabban van összerakva. Ill. azt hiszem a R szériára csak 1 év garancia járt, a T-re 3 ami hosszabbítható 1 évvel ha regisztrálod a géped. Mintha az R szériában is lenne ultrabay -fixme
DE hozzáteszem az R szériával sincs baj!
Anno nekem nagyon sulykolták a T szériát, "mert hogy minden nap hordom, és jobban bírja meg én is boldogabb leszek tőle..."
Immáron negyedik éve használom és gyakorlatilag semmi baja nincs. Nem tudom hogy R széria mit hozott volna, de a T már kapott hideget meleget.

Egyszer lelöktem a konyhapultról, és a zsanér egy kicsit lötyögős lett, így volt alkalmam kipróbálni a magyar szervizhátteret, az is kitűnőre vizsgázott. Leadtam a gépet a hdd-t a szervizes reflexből vette kifelé, és két nappal később szóltak, hogy a új zsanért meghozta a futár, délután mehetek érte. -pipa

Ami nem az évek alatt kiderült:
-a ventik egy kicsit már hangosak benne
-borzalmas a kijelző minősége
nyiss meg egy fehér képet fullscreen-be és nézd meg a monitor széleit mind a négy oldalon sötétebb egy igen nagy foltba. Ezt már a LED-es kijelzővel talán orvosolták, de cáfoljatok meg ha nem így van.
-"nehéz" mivel minden nap hordom, igaz nincs 3kg, de megérzem a hátamon.
-ha a beépített hangszórón akarsz zenét hallgatni, akkor az élvezeti értéke vetekszik a rozsdás lyukas vödör akusztikájával.
-az optika helyén nekem egy vinyó van, a billentyűzet ezen a részen jóval melegebb.
-a fedelén minden meglátszik, két nap fogdosás után úgy néz ki mint ha lehányták volna, ezzel együtt kell élni.

A fenti "hibákon" kívül más gondom soha nem volt vele, minden pikk pakk maszatolás nélkül ment, még vagy 2 évig biztos nincs tervben a cseréje, felesleges tökéletes állapotban van, a linux meg 4G RAM-mal hasít.

lehet tisztitani a fedelet :) és ha 2 év alatt nem karcoltad meg, akkor ugyanolyan lesz mint újonnan:

1. Készítsen oldatot valamilyen gyenge konyhai mosószerből (olyanból amely nem tartalmaz sem súrolószemcséket, sem durva vegyi anyagokat ( savakat
vagy lúgokat ) 5 rész vízhez öntsön 1 rész mosószert.
2. Itassa fel az oldatot egy szivaccasl.
3.Facsarja ki a felesleges folyadékot a szivacsból.
4. Törölje le számítógép borítását a szivaccsal, körkörös modzulatokkal, és ügyelve arra, hogy nehogy csöpögjön a szivacs.
5. Törölje le a gép borítását, hogy eltávolítsa a mosószert.
6. Öblítse ki a szivacsot tiszta vízzel.
7. Törölje le a gép borítását a tiszta szivaccsal.
8. Törölje ismét le a gép borítását, ezúttal egy száraz, nem foszló ruhával.
9. Várjon addig. amíg a felület teljesen meg nem szárad, majd távolítsa el a ruhábol esetlegesen visszamaradt szálakat a felületről.

Hát, szerintem ez a gép elég ronda... valamiért nem tetszik a kocka forma és a színes billentyűk összhatása.

"elsődleges" szempont egy üzleti gépnél. mennyivel jobb lehet egy rózsaszín dell "cukiszürke" billentyűkkel, nemde?

Egyáltalán nem arra gondoltam, hogy egy notebooknak cukinak kéne lennie rózsaszín színekkel, de szerintem ez nagyon ocsmány...
Ha én megnézem ezt, ezt, ezt és ezt, akkor elszörnyülködök rajta, hogy néz ki. Bár ez biztos csak ízlés kérdése.

Sanszos, hogy ízlés kérdése, mivel szerintem a ThinkPad mellett a többi zsebszámológépnek néz ki, vagy legalábbis alaposan alulpozicionáltnak… (és nem árban, hanem a célcsoport korosztályában).

igen, igen ízlés kérdése, de azt végképp nem vágom, hogy az első és negyedik amit linkeltél ~netbook ahogyan van. harmadik már súrolja a használható kategóriát, második meg ismét csak hadd ne fikázzak már. tehát a kinézete ezeknek már tuti, csak kb nem igazán használhatóak munkára. fuss neki mégegyszer, és mutass egy olyan gépet, ami neked tetszik, hadd lássam. de ne számológép legyen kérlek és ne a 90e Ft-os csudaszépre fújt majd hányásra kopó divatos giccs. nem sok van az a helyzet, egyik kivétel a Thinkpad család. szerintem.

Én csak a kinézetüket tettem szóvá a lenovoknak, mást nem... Szó sem esett a használhatóságról, ilyenekről nem akarok vitatkozni, mert nincs sok tapasztalatom e téren.

Szerintem a színes billentyűkből a windows-os nem marad rajta :D

szerintem szinek nelkul nagyon gagyi lenne. :) olyan "élettelen", semmilyen se.

Szerintem ne valassz Intel 4500MHD-vel szerelt laptopot, mert (bar elvileg kepes lenne ra) nem kepes videot hw-bol dekodolni.

E szériás Dell Latitude-al sokkal jobban járnál, vagy akkor egy T szériás Thinkpaddel, de semmiképpen ne a T400-assal, hanem egy későbbivel (már csak a kijelző minősége miatt is).

Komprommiszumos megoldásként az R szériás Thinkpadek is használhatóak, de abból se az R400-ast válaszd, feltéve persze ha ez lehetséges.

Az R400-asban ebben a kiépítésben amúgy a hardveres virtualizáció terén csak a VT-x támogatott, teljesítmény szempontjából jobban járnál valami mással, akár még a T400-assal, ahol a chipset támogatja még a VT-d-t is.

nekem e6410 van core i7 procival és SSD HDD-vel...
nagyon elégedett vagyok vele.

én csak azt tudom mondani hogy ezzel a géppel járnál a leges legjobban: thinkpad x200s.

Én speciel T510-est vettem a nagyobb kijelzője miatt, de ha sokat kellene hurcolni, akkor én is a kisebb mellett döntöttem volna.

pont hogy a kis kijelző a lényeg, meg az LV-s proci, nem melegszik és totál hangtalan, nagyon király cucc. én 14"-ról váltottam le 12"-ra és semmi hátrányát nem érzem, általában mindenki addig idegenkedik(és értetlenkedik) ettől a mérettől, ameddig ki nem próbálta legalább 1 napig, utána rájön mindenki, hogy mekkora királyság, és teljesen jó méret, nem tepsi, pici, könnyű nem melegszik, sokat megy aksiról, ultra kényelmes hordozni. mi kell ennél több? ha nagyobb kijelző kell, akkor meg vegyél nagyobb monitort hozzá desktopra

Touchpad kikapcsolható BIOS-ban is akár, a DVD író akkumulátorra vagy merevlemezre cserélhető.

Meg nagy és nehéz, tepsi, ezekkel egyet lehet érteni.

most is 15,6"-os laptopom van, ugyhogy ez nem gond :D
