1400x1050@75

Monitor (CRT, TFT, ...), projektor, ...

Sziasztok! Monitor csere volt nálam, egy ACER 2017S az új szerzemény. Debian Etch van fent nálam, xorg.conf-ban az új febontást beírtam de a kép nem tökéletes, lehetne jobb is -> ok: csak 60 Hz-es képfrissítéssel megy.

xorg.conf-ot ekkor elővettem, ModLine sort beraktam, lentebb erre hivatkoztam, de eredménnyel nem jártam, továbbra is 60 Hz-el meg y kívánt 75 helyett.

Mi lehet a gond?

xorg log-ból kiderül, hogy hiába írogatok be modline-okat és azok kiválasztását, nvidia ignorálja őket:

hogy lehet ezt kikerülni?

Ha ez egy TFT monitor (márpedig az), akkor ne hajtsd többel 60 Hz-nél. Ezeknél teljesen mindegy a frissítési frekvencia, mivel a TFT egyáltalán nem remeg, nincs "fekete fázis" két kirakott kép között, hanem közvetlenül "alakul" frame-ről frame-re a kép, ezért a szemed egészsége szempontjából teljesen mindegy, hány Hz-re állítod, nem fogja jobban kímélni. Ellenben ezeket a monitorokat úgy tervezi, hogy 60 Hz-es jelet szeretnek kapni a videókártyától.

mellesleg nem aláhúzással kellene megadnia a frissítési értéket?

Nekem is ilyen felbontásban megy a monitorom (TFT) 1400x1050@75
Nálam XP és ubuntu sem volt gond.
Valahol olvastam hogy ezt a felbontást nem mindegyik videókártya tudja lekezelni, spec az enyém hálistan igen. (ATi SAPPHIRE Radeon 9600 ATLANTIS)
