Házimozi gép ASUS GT1030-SL-2G-BRK és UHD-s filmek

Sziasztok,
a gépembe vásároltam egy ASUS GT1030-SL-2G-BRK kártyát házimozi gépnek szánva, hogy a filmeket tudjak vele lejátszani.
Kérdésem, hogy ha Ubuntu 19.04-es desktop gépbe, Nvidia driverel használva akarok UHD-s filmeket nézni pl:

Akkor le kellene tudni játszani a gépnek szaggatás nélkül?

Ugyanis a mostani tesztem alapján 100%-ban a proci van leterhelve és ezért egy kicsit szaggat a film. Esetleg valamit lehet hangolni a driveken, hogy a terhelést a kártya kapja meg?

A lejátszóprogramon belül állítsd be a hardveres gyorsítást. Az NV-é a vdpau. Ennek a kártyának simán vinnie kell a 4k Hevc-s filmeket. Szerintem.

Tesztelem, de valamiért csak nem megy, pattog. Lehetséges, hogy az alaplapi kártya driver is belekavar? Hogyan lehetne maximalizálni a teljesítményt?

valahol nincs engedélyezve, v. használatban a hardveres gyorsítás, v összeakad az a videokártya valamivel.

uninstallálni kellene az nvidia drivert teljesen ( beállításokkal együtt ) esetleg a felhasználói beállításokat törölni lenne érdemes. de lehet hogy az x server beállításokban van hiba, v. a gnome/kde gyorsításnál

vagy megpróbálni egy új felhasználói fiókot csinálni ideiglenesen, hogy ott mit művel.

de még a compizban is ki v. be lehet kapcsolva valami, aminek (nem)kéne

nem látok benne errort, próbálj meg vlc-vel lejátszani egy videót.

ha azzal megy - bekapcsolt hardveres gyorsítással aakor mással is mennie kell.
ami hibát okozhat még az a túl kicsi pufferek, ez esetben is szokott laggolni a lejátszás, esetleg a codec-el lehet még valami

mdenesetre ha tudni akarod hogy a vdpau mire képes a vdpauinfo megmondja.

ha nem konvertáld át olyanra amit tud a kártyád.

Igen eddig a procit használtam, de néha pattogott és ezért döntöttem, hogy veszek egy kártyát, hogy a terhet csökkentse. Sajnos jelen állás szerint ez nem jött be és csak proci megy... tobb playert is néztem, de nagy különbség nem észlelhető a lejatszasban (ha lenne akkor már azt használnám). Hamarosan küldöm az eredményt.

ezekkel letiltod az intel drivert elvileg :)

azután kiadod a következő parancsokat:

$ update-grub

ha minden jól megy, az intel driver nem tud betöltődni, az nvidia meg betöltődik már a bootolás legelső szakaszában.

azonban lehet hogy problémát okoz az ubuntu logó magjelenítésében a bootolás alatt.

Újra telepítettem az UBU-t, de sajnos ugyan olyan lassú. Most már autómatikusan tette fel az Nvidia drivert (418-at), de valamiért nem használja a gyorsítását. Esetleg érdemes lenne mást distro-t megnézni? Mi lehet az oka, hogy nem ismeri fel a kártyát autómatikusan?

... hát, itt messziről csak találgathatunk, mint a muszálytévés, mosógépfűtőszálas varázsló ...
1. a pci-e 2.0-ás lapon működik-e a pci-e 3.0-ás nv kártya ?
visszafelé kompatibilitásról olvastam a pci-e-nél, odafeléről nem ...
igaz, csak a sebesség növekedett az újnál, a lábkiosztás és a címzés nem változott, ettől még akár mehetne is
2. van elég villany a csatlakozón ?
a kártya dokumentációja szerint min 300W-os táp kell neki
3. régebben a bumblebee játszott a kompozit videokártyás dolgokkal, mostanában ubiéknál elvileg alapból települ ami ezt a munkát végzi
kérdés, hogy felmászik-e a modul telepítéskor, ha csak az inteles kártyát találja a rendszer
+még ilyenek ...
remélem itt valaki rátapint a dolog nünüjére :)

Ilyenkor mindig elgondolkodom, hogy miert eri meg szenvedni ezekkel a takolt megoldasokkal mikor a polcrol is levehetsz kb 1000+1 eszkozt ami csipobol megcsinalja ezt...

Tudom tudom rengeteg tapasztalatot lehet vele szerezni (tenyleg milyet is? :D)
