Pl.: budapesti szám esetében +3612345678, vidéki szám esetén +3699234567.
A + 36 használata esetén ugyanis a magyarországi hívószám tárcsázásához külföldön is elegendô azt a névjegyzékbôl elôhívni, nem kell a számot roaming helyzetben hívás elôtt módosítani (mint akár 06-al való tárolás esetén), és az országkóddal (36) kiegészíteni.

International phone numbers are usually written with a plus sign (+) before the phone number representing the international call prefix. The plus sign indicates the code required to dial out of one's country code area as shown in the list below, such as 00 in most of Europe, 011 in the United States, and other short codes in other parts of the world. Many phones allow this "+" to be entered in the number list, often by holding the '0' key (most GSM mobile phones) or with two consecutive presses of the * key. It is then automatically converted to the correct international prefix when making a call, which enables callers to use the same number from any country.
For example
A UK phone number written as +44 1234 567890 would be dialed as 567890 from the '01234' linked numbering scheme exchanges in the UK; as 01234 567890 from elsewhere in the UK; and as 00 44 1234 567890 from countries using the 00 international access code. For countries using a prefix other than 00, simply substitute that for 00 in the last example; for example, from North American Numbering Plan countries (including the United States and Canada), dial 011 44 1234 567890.
Many states also provide alternative dialling arrangements for calls to neighbouring countries.
