Szerintem itt alapvetően félreértették egymást. Legalábbis az openssl-devel mindenképpen csak debuggolásra gondol, ez látszik a válaszból. ("If it helps with debugging, I'm in favor of removing them.") A kérdésből meg az, hogy Kurt nem igazán érti, hogy mit csinál az a 2 kivett sor. ("What I currently see as best option is to actually comment out those 2 lines of code. But I have no idea what effect this really has on the RNG. The only effect I see is that the pool might receive less entropy. But on the other hand, I'm not even sure how much entropy some unitialised data has.")
Mindegy a véleményem nem változott. Olyasvalaki ne gányoljon bele kritikus dolgokba, amit nem igazán lát át. Még az se nagyon, aki átlátja, inkább a develekkel közösen. Így mellesleg mindenki profitál belőle (ha előremozdító dolgot csinál).
