Unlike the service strategy for hot-plug HP StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Library models, the StorageWorks MSL6030 tape library and StorageWorks MSL6026 taple library models with a non-hotplug integrated chassis use a "whole-chassis" repair strategy. When returning the StorageWorks MSL6030 tape library or StorageWorks MSL6026 tape library non-hotplug integrated chassis for repair, remove only the non-hotplug tape drive canisters, tape magazines, and optional cards.
