A Canonical bejelentette, hogy Ubuntu Pro néven prémium - nagyobb fokú biztonság, kernel live patching szolgáltatás stb. - image-eket tesz elérhetővé az Amazon Web Services-hez. Elérhetők az AWS Marketplace-en keresztül Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 16.04 LTS és 18.04 LTS változatban. Az új image-ek lehetővé teszik a vállalatok számára, hogy kiterjesztett karbantartással, nagyobb biztonsággal, és kritikus megfelelőségi funkciókkal ellátott rendszereket vásárolhassanak anélkül, hogy szerződést kellene kötniük.
