usb probléma: mustek mdc 3500 hp omnibook xe2

Miért csinálja ezt?
Az alábbi logokat egy mustek mdc 3500 usb tárolóként funkcionáló digitális kamera produkálja egy hp omnibook xe2 laptopon. Mindkét készülék usb 1-es. A kernel lagalul megkérdezi, hogy nem-e a kábel rossz, de az nem lehet, mert két kábellel is próbáltam. Sőt, egy másik laptopon windows xp-vel működött, és egy asztali gépen win 98 alatt is úgy tűnt, hogy megy.
Az alábbi log egy 2.6.9-es kerneltől származik, de hasonlóképpen viselkedett 2.6.7 alatt is.
