Salary: The annual salary for this position is between € 63,691 and € 75,516

Duties:
* Ensuring a high level of service to the RIPE NCC members and stakeholders
* Proactively working with members of the RIPE community to identify requirements for the RIPE Database and related future projects
* Planning and supervising service delivery, maintenance and support activities for the RIPE Database and related services
* Planning, coordination and resource allocation for activities and projects within the department
* Ensuring effective collaboration with other departments and external parties to achieve departmental goals
* Producing time and cost budgets with the CTO for all group activities

Specific Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Strong experience in management of software development projects
* The ability to define and work to clear milestones and deliverables and meet defined targets
* Knowledge of industry standards for software development, databases, system scalability and resilience
* Experience with community-driven projects and product development
* Understanding of open source software
* Experience in the planning, supervision and coordination of service delivery activities, meeting targets of service quality and performance
* Effective people management skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Excellent presentation skills
