Mai Happy Hacking (IBM xSeries 346)

Mai Happy Hacking (IBM xSeries 346)A mai happy hacking alanya egy IBM xSeries 346-os szerver volt (kep, kep2, kep3, kep4). A szerverre Debian GNU/Linux fog kerulni Apache + MySQL + PHP tarsasagaban, es egy egyetem tanulmanyi rendszere fog rola futni, ha minden igaz. A szerverbe 2 darab 3GHz-es Xeon processzor, 3 GB RAM, es negy darab 36 GB-os hotswap SCSI lemez kerult (a kepeken nincs meg minden benne). A RAID tombot egy IBM ServeRAID 7k kartya fogja ossze. Az alaplapon ketto darab Broadcom rezes GE adapter. Es van hozza Support CD is, Powered by Linux... :-)

Mivel ma jott ki a FreeBSD 5.3-RC2, gondoltam kiprobalom rajta. A telepites csont nelkul ment, 10 perc alatt rajta volt a rendszer. Viszont problemam akadt az alaplapi halozati kartyakkal. A Broadcom adaptereket az istennek nem latja a FreeBSD.

Na itt eleg is lett mara, folyt. kov.

A mai happy hacking alanya egy IBM xSeries 346-os szerver volt (kep, kep2, kep3, kep4). A szerverre Debian GNU/Linux fog kerulni Apache + MySQL + PHP tarsasagaban, es egy egyetem tanulmanyi rendszere fog rola futni, ha minden igaz. A szerverbe 2 darab 3GHz-es Xeon processzor, 3 GB RAM, es negy darab 36 GB-os hotswap SCSI lemez kerult (a kepeken nincs meg minden benne). A RAID tombot egy IBM ServeRAID 7k kartya fogja ossze. Az alaplapon ketto darab Broadcom rezes GE adapter. Es van hozza Support CD is, Powered by Linux... :-)

Mivel ma jott ki a FreeBSD 5.3-RC2, gondoltam kiprobalom rajta. A telepites csont nelkul ment, 10 perc alatt rajta volt a rendszer. Viszont problemam akadt az alaplapi halozati kartyakkal. A Broadcom adaptereket az istennek nem latja a FreeBSD.
