Végeztem méréseket PPPoE-vel ("házi" PPPoE szerverrel), sajnos sikeresen reprodukáltam az általad leírtakat. :(

A mostani 100/100-as nettel nem okoz gondot a lassúság, de ha gigabitre bővítenék (bármikor megtehetném, a házban kiépített infrastruktúra elbírja), a max. sebesség 30-40%-át tudnám csak kihasználni...

A CPU terhelés 67%-ig kúszott fel a pfSense-es VM-ben, a PPPoE szerveren kb. 10-12% volt a csúcs (egy magon mérve) és a terhelés arányosan eloszlott a négy mag között, így biztosan nem a szerver miatt jött ki ez a gyatra eredmény. Ahogy írtam az összefoglalóban, a Mikrotik doboz 2 Gbps switching sebességre képes (ez mért, valós teljesítmény, nem "papírforma"), így ez sem lehet szűk keresztmetszet. Megpróbáltam növelni a vCPU-k számát 2-ről 4-re a KVM-ben, illetve a memóriát 512MB-ról 2GB-ra, de ezek egyáltalán nem befolyásolták a mért átviteli sebességet.
