Elvileg ezzel a boot paraméterrel rá lehetne venni, hogy melyik porton jelenjen meg a boot kimenet:

"... quiet splash video=DVI-D-0 "

Gyakorlatilag a helyzet változatlan :)

xrandr szerint pedig a port név oké:

$ xrandr -q
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 4320 x 1050, maximum 16384 x 16384
VGA-0 connected 1280x1024+1680+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 380mm x 300mm
DVI-D-0 connected primary 1680x1050+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 490mm x 320mm
HDMI-0 connected 1360x768+2960+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 640mm x 360mm

Igen, rá van kötve egy TV is a gépre HDMI-n, de az most nem lényeg.
