Hát, a legegyszerűbb, ha fogod, és a HAL-t kilövöd. Ha még ekkor is automount-ol, akkor nem azt használja :)
Nem tudom, mennyire releváns infó ez, de itt azt írja, hogy a 2.28 óta már nem használja a gnome a HAL-t.

Simply install UDisks and all your media should be auto mounted in GNOME and KDE SC 4.6. There is no need for any additional rules this way. As an extra bonus you can remove HAL if you were only using that for auto mounting purposes.
