Ubuntu felbontás hiba

Ubuntu Linux

A laptopom max.felbontása 1024*768.
Így is használtam,mióta az eszemet tudom.
Ma kikapcsoltam a gépet,és mikor most visszakapcsoltam a választható maximális felbontás 960*600.

Mitől tünt el egy kikapcsolástól az 1024-es felbontásom?
Valahogy orvosolható ez?

Próbáltad helyreállítani a Rendszer/Beállítások/Képernyő felbontása menübpontban?

Nem szoktam buherálni az xorg.conf-ot, csak néhány tippet tudok adni:

1. Nézd meg az xorg.conf könyvtárában, hogy van-e ugyanilyen nevű fájl más kiterjesztéssel.

2. Vagy helyezd át a xorg.conf-ot egy másik könyvtárba aztán futtasd a dexconf parancsot, aztán indítsd újra az X-et.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xorg-server

Itt belövöd többek közt a felbontást, és voálá. Igy működnie KELL! :)

igen, a 8.04 ubuntunak ez nagyon nagy hátránya. én ezt úgy küszöböltem ki hogy van backupom az alap xorg.conf-ból meg az nvidias xorg.conf-ból is.
aztán mikor meghülyül felül írom és be@@@@ti.
mással nem bírtam megcsinálni. semmien parancs reconfig nem segített. újratelepítgetni meg tudja hogy kifogja.....

u.i. elnézést a durva kirohanásért de mérgesvagyok az ubira. eddig ez a legjobb és a legrosszabb is egyben. milyen az hogy csak úgy egy conf úgy szétesik amihez nem is nyúl az ember!
