VDP troubleshooting mankó

Kéménybe korommal. Nem VDP, hanem EMC Avamar, de tök mindegy, mert a VDP bele gyakorlatilag ugyanaz:

1. Stop all VDP services (dpnctl stop)
2. Unmount the mount point (umount /data0X)
3. Run xfs_check (xfs_check /dev/sdxy)
4. Mount data0X (mount -a)
5. start services (dpnctl start all)
6. stop maintenance services (dpnctl stop maint)
7. avmaint checkpoint --ava (create checkpoint)
8. Run full hfscheck (avmaint hfscheck --full --ava)
8b. check hfscheck (avmaint hfscheckstatus --ava)
9. Start maint (dpnctl start maint)

Egyéb, ami hasznos (pl. ha a GC nem fut le, mert nincs elég hely) lehet:

1.) To get disk information
# avmaint config --ava | grep disk

2.) Change TEMPORARY the "disknogc" to value 93
# avmaint config disknogc=93 --ava

(Do not forget to set default value to 85 after GC is finished .... !!!!)

3.) Start GC from MCS and monitor it with "status.dpn"

Van-e elég hely a root fs-en?

Connecting the vSphere Data Protection appliance to vCenter Server fails with the error: No space left on device (2042185)

Státusz:

# status.dpn

# dpnctl status

Leállít, indít:

# dpnctl stop maint
# dpnctl start maint
