Az 1.4 Ghz-es Dothan magos Celeron M processzor (ami egy Pentium M processzor 1 MB L2 gyorsítótárral ami nem támogatja az EIST-et) nagyjából egy 2.4 Ghz-es Pentium 4 teljesítményét hozza, úgyhogy a processzorod lassabb.

Tudom neked is van egy listád, hogy minek kell az adott új Ubuntu verzión mennie. Nos nekem is van, és a vmware workstation rajta van. Jelenleg 7.1.4-et használok. Kell valami trükk, patch, egyéb?

Mondjuk tény, hogy WEP-pel nem próbáltam. Régóta nem használok WEP-et. Csak WEP-pel szar?

A routerem WEP-re van állítva. Azt írják, csak az nem megy.
Lehet, hogy átállítom majd a routert. Valami olyasmit olvastam, hogy a WEP 2 percig se képes visszatartani a betörni óhajtókat, szóval ha csak az rossz, még nem a világ vége.

Első próbálkozásra talán 5 perc is volt, míg a WEP elhullott. :) Annak tényleg semmi értelme, ha a betörési szándékot akarod megelőzni. Ha a környéketeken sok a nyílt wifi, akkor talán mindegy, mert talán nem a tiéteket használják majd. De ha már, akkor wpa2.

Köszi, a NetworkManager nem tudott vele mit kezdeni. Wicd-vel simán kapcsolódik kernel bütykölés nélkül.
