A LibreOffice mögött álló The Document Foundation bejelentette, hogy München városa csatlakozott tanácsadó testületéhez. A testületben a német várost Florian Haftmann fogja képviselni. A tanácsadó testület jelenleg 17 tagot számlál: AMD, CIB Software, München városa, CloudOn, Collabora, FrODeV (Freies Office Deutschland), FSF (Free Software Foundation), Google, Intel, ITOMIG, KACST (King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology of Saudi Arabia), Lanedo, MIMO (Consortium of French Ministries), RedHat, SPI (Software in the Public Interest), Studio Storti és a SUSE.
