Az a problémám van egy Netware 3.12-es fájlszerver és két tanterem, egyik tanteremben elérhető a fájlszerver és simán megy, tehát be tudnak jelentkezni :-), a másik teremben csak egy-két gépre lehet bejelentkezni, itt is sok gép van, és ez a hálózat BNC kábelekkel van összekötve, tehát ez a rendszer már 15 éves, a bootolos hálókártya felismeri, csak utána elkezd számolni, számolni, pedig nem kellene.
Ha valaki tud segítsen!
Újabb problémába ütköztem a Novell 3.12-be, amikor a felhasználó belép,
kiírja, hogy "You have exceeded your credit limit for this server"
Nagyából azt jelenti, hogy valamijen credit limitet elért.
És az a baj, hogy a "rendszergazda" felhasználónál is kiírja.

A kabelek jok? Lezaro ellenallasok megvannak? Erintkeznek is? ;-) Ha egy gepet lehuzol, es a BNC csatlakozon ellenallast mersz, megvan a 25 ohm? (a ket 50 ohmos lezaro parhuzamosan kotve 25 ohm)
Mérni csak teljesen kihúzott kábellel szabad (minden gépből). Coax hálózatnál gond lehet a földelés is (ráz a kábel), ettől mehetnek tönkre kártyák.
Állóhullám gyanú...
Lezárás?? (Néha az 50ohmok elfáradnak)
Más volt a probléma, megoldottam, még annyi lenne a kérdésem, hogy ebben a rendszerben egy felhasználó nem tudja a jelszavát, mivel tudom megváltoztatni (NETWARE 3.12).

Auditing User Account Balances
One more step is required before you can begin to charge users for use of the network. You must establish an account balance for each user. When you open a checking account at your local bank, for example, you must give the bank a sum of money before you can debit the account. This banking procedure is similar to the NetWare procedure of establishing a user account balance. The beginning balance is arbitrary. The system uses the balance to establish an account that is depleted as the user works on the system. If the balance is not limited, the account acts as an odometer by tracking the amount of units that are used. The maximum number of units for an account balance is 99,999,999.
Limiting NetWare account balances is useful when you want users to be aware of the amount of time they spend on a network. When users' accounts reach the low balance limit, they are asked to log out of the system. Users must log out at this time. If they do not log out, the system will do it for them. To prevent this inconvenience, set the Low Balance Limit field to a negative number. If you set a user's balance to -1,000, for example, the message You have exceeded your credit limit for this server. warns the user of a low account balance when the account reaches 0. The user now has 1,000 units to use to finish and exit the network properly. The system tracks the way the user consumes certain network resources. As the user's account hits zero, the counter starts using negative numbers, which should not be confused with negative units.
Every time the user logs out of the system, NetWare accounting updates their accounting data and logs their data in the accounting data files. You can use the PAUDIT file, illustrated in figure 11.45, to view login, logout, and system usage information for every user.
