• HTML entity names for characters are used when appropriate.
• Missing attribute quotes are added, and mismatched quotes found.
• Tags lacking a terminating '>' are spotted.
• Proprietary elements are recognized and reported as such.
• The page is reformatted, from a choice of indentation styles.
