For a specific example, I write in French – my native language. French typographic conventions differ in many details from the anglo-saxon habits, more than a simple
\frenchspacingwill do. Trying to modify LaTeX was like moving a mountain. One screen of (plain) TeX macros did the job.
Bár én továbbra is fönntartom, hogy (magyar nyelvű dokumentumok esetében) a magyar.ldf-nél nincs jobb, de a fönti is egy elfogadható vélemény.
